Welcome to the 2008 second annual Vancouver Orchid Festival!

We are very honoured to have Mary Comber Miles present her stunning botanical artwork at this year's event! She is the Honorary Artist to the VanDusen Botanical Garden and botanical illustrator for the Proceedings of the 16th World Orchid Conference which was held in Vancouver 1999. The Festival also welcomes the Vancouver Ikebana Association who will be exhibiting gorgeous arrangements representing the five schools of Ikebana (Ikenobo, Sogetsu, Ohara, Sangetsu and Kado Sumi)! This presentation will be the prelude to their fabulous Spring Ikebana Show on May 5 and 6, 2008 at the Oakridge auditorium, Oakridge Center Mall.

An exciting line up of orchid vendors and displays will highlight this unique plant sale blooming at the Vandusen Botanical Gardens Floral Hall. Two days of retail therapy within the lush surroundings of the VanDusen Botanical Gardens, this event will feature a unique collection of plants sold by local and international orchid vendors. Check out our Vendors section for pre orders to Ecuagenera (Ecuador) and Sun Moon Orchids (Taiwan) as well as the growing list of participating local vendors.

Place your bids in the Silent Auction from a lovely collection of items donated by generous supporters and donors of the Vancouver Orchid Festival!
